DAY 21 - Write about LOVE

Love is helping you out with stuff, when you are just too busy, or you're not feeling up to it. Love is a huge smile, a big warm hug, a kiss on my forehead and wherever else. Love is not letting anyone say anything nasty about you while I'm within range. Because how dare they? Love is letting me cry when I can't hold it in anymore, holding me tight and saying it's going to be okay. Love is not giving up on you. Not writing you off. Hoping that you'll learn, grow and change. Love is respecting my wishes, decisions, and boundaries. Because I'm a human like you too. Love is not comparing you to your mates, because you've had your fair share of life. Love is not saying one condescending word to me. Not ever raising your voice at me. Love is just listening to you talk. Because you don't know how beautiful you sound. Love is just telling you how it is, where it hurts, how it hurts, without having to think about it. Without having to worry about you judging me....

DAY 12 - Favorite TV Series

I dunno... When I was a lot younger, I saw a lot of Nickelodeon series... Icarly, Sam and Cat, Big Time Rush etc. Really loved the lot. But between then and now I haven't really many TV series. I think Suits will count for a TV series. And if it does, then it'll be my favorite. I just love the way the characters' lives are interwoven, the plot twists, the law talk (I've always admired that profession), the drama etc. Each character had its own flaws and mega points, but altogether they were beautiful. And Donna? OMG.  She's gotta be my favorite movie character of the decade. I was really hooked. I just like the way the story was not tied around 'Mike and Rachel', the major stars in the movie. That way, when the Duchess of Sussex left to fulfill her royal duties, the series went on for another two or three seasons at least. It's okay that they dragged out bringing Harvey and Donna together until the very end, even though we all knew from the very beginnin...

DAY 11- Talk About Your Siblings

My parents got lucky. My siblings are some of my blessings I count more than once. Honestly, I imagine my life would have been more grim and dark without them. I have five siblings: three girls, two boys, each different in their own way. I think what I value most about them is our ability to stick together through anything, and how we come through for one another when the need arises. We're not the mushy kind of siblings, but we're there for each other even in ways we don't realize. Last year, when my mom died and I broke up with my fiancé right about that same time, I was so depressed that I stayed off social media for months. Luckily, I was home at that period...and all my siblings were too. Hanging out with them helped me to not fall apart as much as I would have wanted to. Our in-jokes and sense of humour is topnotch. They have their flaws and imperfections, and I disagree with each one of them every once in a while, but they're still the best in the world.

Day 8 - The Power of Music

Music is one is the mysterious things God created... Subtle. Smooth. Fluid. Sometimes, it takes the shape of its container. Other times, it rinses out dirt from its bearer. Sometimes, it leaves its scent behind. Other times, it restores your sense of smell. Music heals. Music gives. Music takes. Music becomes. Music captivates. Music lifts. Music reveals. A tool and a master. God loves music. And so do I.
